He told me he loves me!

Ah those sweet words said from my little man. No prompting, no special occasion, just cuddled into my shoulder after his bath and said 'Love you Mummy' and planted a kiss on my cheek. He said it to Hubby too who also got the kiss on the cheek. Made up for the fact that little man decided to get up at 6am this morning!

I have seriously cleared out the finances today. Little man was seriously lacking in summer clothes now that the warm weather is here. I popped to the shop with the intention of getting a couple of pairs of shorts and a couple of t-shirts. 3 pairs of shorts and several t-shirts and vests later I vacated the store! I then got my hair highlighted but was pretty pleased with the price followed by a trip into town to pick up some shoes I had ordered oh and to get a couple of basic t's and trousers for me. This job better be forth coming!!

Finding it hard to get motivated!

Well the tax return turned up this week. I still have some left over bits that I am getting rid of so will go into next years tax return but thanks to moving I hadn't done much recording of my accounts for a few months. I know I need to do it but the thought of searching through all those boxes is just urgh! Plus I just want to get a job. I need motivation, I need something else in my life, but they all want full time only. If I was looking for full time work I would have got one already. People look at my CV and think I am over qualified, no!!! I am a Mum who doesn't want to work in a supermarket but isn't looking for a super high flying career either! I don't know how much clearer I can make that.

Why or why can't he stay sweet?

Ok so the last 2 days with the little guy have been stressful. He has pretty much dropped his naps but since he was ill last Sunday he has slept either on the couch or at nursery. Well yesterday he didn't want a nap so OK he is feeling better but boy or boy did the grouch appear for the afternoon! Argh! Then this morning he wakes up early comes into our bed and relaxes but doesn't sleep. So by the time we get out of the house to get groceries and other bits and pieces he is cranky and pinching me cos I wanted to hold some clothes up against him!! So I just took him up for a nap, he wanted Daddy but I held firm and explained what was happening and yay he has gone to sleep!! I am hoping for a less stressful afternoon today.

Argh!!

Not sure if I have made the right choice for a template for this blog! Can't get things to match up neatly! Or maybe I am just being a dunce!

Saturday fun!

Well here I am doing naff all, good ole PMT has put paid to a lot of the things I wanted to do today. Still managed to unpack another box today and found homes for the stuff from it! Only about 50 or so to go! Little guy and the big fella have been out and about getting tools. Seeing as the rain has finally stopped I think the cars will be getting a well earned wash!

Got a bit more research done today on the family tree. Found another tree linked into mine on my Mums side which is a bit of a find as I thought no one was researching the same elements as me. Am hoping they will get in touch and give me some clues to people just off from my main line.

Oh that was not good, making the brain work on the weekend!

Ok so where do I start?

Well that was the view on Sunday, today its chilly but sunny!

I just wish the Spring weather would hurry up, there is so much more to do with the little guy when things start to warm up. At the moment though he is still recovering from being poorly. I know its wrong but while he has been feeling under the weather I have gotten extra cuddles, kisses and snuggles, bliss! Plus we both had a lay down on the couch this afternoon and had a little cat nap together! Perfect.
